A big welcome to all the members who have joined this website. As the name suggests the main idea behind the site is to share, discuss and discover our Singara Chennai (or as i prefer to call it Madras Nalla Madras).

Just like everyone else, i had been searching for a place for us Chennaites to sit down and talk about our city. But until today, i have not been able to find anything decent enough. So, why not i start something new. Hence i have decided to start this website for us to talk about the good and ofcourse the bad that makes our Singara Chennai.

Yes Praveen, I agree with you on this. We need Chennaites to be more open to speak out their minds(of course in a decent way) that is interesting and useful. I too am a Chennaite keen to see and experience a Singara Chennai. Unfortunately, this only remains a famous statement for years together. But yes, there are really significant positive changes that have happened in Chennai during the last 2 decades. Also we should be proud that Chennai is the only metro city that still enjoys the top position in being traditional among all Indian metros, while other cities have changed a lot during recent years losing their traditionality. Let's do everything we can to make Chennai really Singara Chennai.
