Lot of credit should be paid to Wridhaman Saha for making his few chances count and also manage to break from the big shadow of MS Dhoni. The wicket-keeper batsman who walked away with a man of the match award with his gritty batting in the IPL is confident of making his mark in the CL T20 as well. Saha noted the England series will have little bearing on CSK's performance in the T20 event. “All the players are thorough professionals and I am sure they will come back well. They will all play their natural game. They will work hard and perform well“, said Saha. The Bengal batsman noted there was no injury concern in the CSK camp and the bench strength is one of the best among the ten teams. “The fielding drills fielding drills have been excellent and there is priority to all three departments. All the players (including the reserves) are working hard and will look at performing to potential“, explained Saha.
It is not easy for a wicketkeeper to turn out in the outfield but Saha has managed to work around that as well. “It's a job that is expected of me and no complaints. We would like to keep our good work going at our home turf and for that record to be maintained all of us will have to field well”, added Saha.
