@Ramani, Try the following: Go to attach another. Then you will get the box where you choose to add an attachment. Instead of adding a new one find the one you attached last by mistake at the bottom. Then go to the top right corner of that attachment that shows you a question mark. If you click on that, the question mark will now turn into a red cross. If you click on that red cross you have deleted it.

It will not be attached to your posting any more.

I hope it works for you. it was a good question. I my self did not know, but this is what I tried and it really worked. Because you asked this question, I was able to learn how to do it. It should work for you too. As an experiment I attached a small picture to this message, posted it, then went back to edit it and deleted it the way described above.
