Impatient website?
To the administrators of the forums:
Occasionally, it takes a little longer to compose a reply, but the website logs me off, before the message could be posted.
This can be frustrating and infuriating. Can the website be made to automatically post the message, even if it is partial,
so that one can continue the message, using the edit option, where I left off?

This happens if the session is timed out. Currently session time out is set at 30 mins. But certain anti-virus/security softwares, some versions of Internet Explorer block the cookies that are being set. In such scenario's you will be logged out immediately.
To rectify, whenever you login, check the "remember me" button so that it does not happen or use Firefox/Chrome browsers.
You can though post "auto saved" content next time you log in.

Hi Ramani Sir,
When I first entered this forum I had the same Hiccups. I found a way around it.
If I had to post a reply or a new thread or whatever, I first wrote it in MS Word, saved it, went through corrections (spelling and grammar), then logged in, copied and pasted the message. This way you never exceed the 30 minutes timeout.
This way allows you to take the time you need and to compose your message correctly. I hope this tip helps.

Thanks, Praveen and Rajpriya, I will remember your suggestions next time I need more time to compose a message.
