Weight gain occurs mainly among heavier drinkers rather than those who prefer small amounts of their favourite tipple, say Spanish researchers
Remember the last time your heavy drinking habit was blamed for your putting on weight as it contains high sugar content. A new study has suggested moderate intake of wine can in fact help in shedding weight. According to the research, drinking a glass of wine a day can stop people piling on the pounds, as a moderate wine-intake could form part of a healthy diet, Daily Express said.
Weight gain occurs mainly among heavier drinkers rather than those who prefer small amounts of their favourite tipple, say Spanish researchers at Navarro University.
“Light to moderate alcohol intake, especially of wine, may be more likely to protect against, rather than promote, weight gain,“ said a spokesman for the Navarro University team.
The International Scientific Forum on Alcohol Research agreed with most of the team’s conclusions.
For now there is little evidence that moderate amounts of alcohol increase the risk of obesity, it said.
That's widely believed in the western world. Many couples who prefer to stay away from pubs drink a glass or two of red wine. In Germany there different groups of people whose drinking habits vary. You get hard drinkers and they are regular pub goers. After dinner they shoot off to the nearest pub get drunk on beer and when they walk out they see double of everything. But they do get to their homes on instinct.
They can be easily spotted by their protruding bellies and they could never see their toes when they stand. Most building construction workers on their way to work early in the morning pick up a case of beer (20 bottles) and use it instead of water to quench their thirst.
You must find the good French or Spanish wines as against cheaper brands. In Italy right through out the day they drink Vino Rosa meaning red wine.
Your failure to respond to my message above goes to prove that you are certainly a person who will not encourage a bribe even though my intention was not that. I really have to stress that point here that you are an honest person in a country that's full of corruption. It also gives you the privilege of not being obligated to accept my views if they are not in keeping with the true purpose of the Chennaiforums.
Once more "Hats off to you". You are a great guy from what my personal experience tells me to this day after I joined this forum.
