    Hi Mr. Ramabadran,

    If am not mistaken you have introduced your self once before. It does not really matter. You are Very Welcome. Appreciate your comment about the forum. I notice a difference in the Initials. Maybe the earlier R. Rmabadran was your?
    Rajpriya

    Here is what your earlier introduction said:

    ================================================== =====

    Introduction by pc ramabadran

    I am living in California with my two sons for the past one year and more. I am aged 79 and both my wife and I are not sporting good health with one too many debilities. I spent fifty years in Mumbai where I retired from a reputed MNC as a top Indian Executive.

    Though I am not well disposed to a different culture, style and ambience, from the point of health, we are required to stay on; my wife is in favour of being with the sons and grand-
    Children. Mental frame of mind differs from individual to individual. I completed my school and college education at Madurai prior to 1956.

    I am a voracious reader of English dailies, magazines and religious books as well as books written by well known scholars. Besides, I am interested in listening to Carnatic music and religious discourses. I go for long morning stroll.

    I have great pleasure in joining Chennai forums launched by Praveenji with foresight and vision and wish the forum a great and grand success and its members fulfilling time. God bless.

    PC RAMABADRAN

    ================================================== =======

    Apologies to praveenji

    At long last, after trials and errors, I could register with Chennai Forums. I regret

    to have caused avoidable inconvenience to Praveenji but in a violent hurry

    I had to send two mails to him for his guidance . He was so prompt and decent

    to acknowledge my mails . I offer grateful thanks to him for the alacrity with which

    he looks after members' wants and requests. May God bless him for his selfless

    service.

    @Rajpriya:

    The initials in the two cases seem different. One is PC Ramabadran, the other is R.Ramabadran!

    @praveen

    Would Praveenji be kind enough to explain the confusion here?

    Since most people want to be anonymous on an Internet forum it may not be possible to get answers. Even though they may be reading all the postings regarding this confusion they may prefer not to explain.

    I would not take this as a serious issue where an explanation would be needed.

    May all beings everywhere be happy! लोकाः समसताः सुखिनो भवन्तु।
    Lead me from the unreal to the real. असतोमा सद्गमय।
    Lead me from darkness to light. तमसोमा ज्योतिर् गमय।

    "asato ma sadgamaya
    tamaso ma jyotirgamaya
    mrtyorma amrtam gamaya

    Lead me from the asat to the sat.
    Lead me from darkness to light.
    Lead me from death to immortality."

    (Brhadaranyaka Upanishad — I.iii.28)
    This is true prayer—the seeker’s admission of his sense of limitedness and his heartfelt cry for assistance in transcendence. It is not a prayer for the things of the world. It is not a pray for food, shelter, health, partnership, riches, success, fame, glory or even for heaven1. One who recites these three mantras has realized that such things are full of holes, soaked in pain and, even in abundance, will forever leave him wanting. It is in this full understanding that one turns to this prayer. The essence of each of these three mantras is the same: "O, Guru, help me free myself from my sundry misunderstandings regarding myself, the universe and God and bless me with true knowledge."
