A new game called Angry Brides, similar to iPhone app called Angry Birds, has been launched by a matrimonial website.

The game, unveiled by marriage portal shaadi.com, shows grooms with heavy dowry price tags who can be struck with a weapon of their choice and with each hit the price of the groom dips with the money getting added to the player’s anti-dowry fund.

A doctor groom commands a dowry of Rs 34 lakh, an engineer has a price tag of Rs 13 lakh and a pilot of Rs 39 lakh.

Its great news. A man must be able to support his wife if at all he needs one with his own hard earned money. This is another age old form of corruption in India. Dowry is a bribe given to a man by the brides parents. Both the giver and taker are guilty of corruption. It must be stopped.

A man must be truly ashamed of wanting a dowry to marry a woman. As it is Doctors, Engineers and Pilots make enough money. Shame on all those men who demand a dowry.
