Ace Director Mani Ratnam's upcoming film titled "Kadal", which has been produced by Madras Talkies. Evergreen Actor Karthick's son Gautham Karthick has been introduced as hero with Tamil and Tollywood fame Samantha paired opposite him. Apart from these two actors, Aravind samy and Arjun roped in to play important roles.


A.R. Rahman composes the music for the film and cinematography has been handled by Rajiv Menon while editing for the film will be done by Sreekar Prasad, who has received maximum number of National Awards.


Kadal is a bi-lingual film being made in tamil and telugu simultaneously.


Kadal is the 14th production by Madras Talkies and 23rd film of Mani Ratnam.
