    Margazhi Music on All India Radio

    In a first of its kind initiative, All India Radio on Monday announced the launch of a weekly music programme called Isai Chaaral featuring prominent artistes from Carnatic, folk and light music and literature.

    The programe will be launched on December 16 and broadcast on AIR and FM gold channels from January 4 between 6 and 8 pm every week, AIR Chennai station director J. Kamalanathan said.
