“We will hit back”, “Undue pressure on us”, “we gave our best”, “Rank earned not owned”, “Just a bad phase”, “Things were tough”, “rank is temporary”. Put it any way you like. I like it the way you say it with a smile captain cool. No one can always win nor should one always loose.

While the other team hit back were they not under any pressure? While you tried your best they gave their best better? Ranks tumble in the stock markets too and who cares?
Your teams’ bad phase made the other teams’ phase an easy one. Tough and easy change hands? Rank is temporary is some thing new we never knew.

Teams are selected and a captain chosen to play and win. If the purpose was to loose we just can send in a team made up people who may not know the game. That can’t be too difficult can it?

Apple’s Steve Jobs retired recently. The Wall Street reacted and share values came down sharply. The people who use Apple computers would know what the change could mean. Will the new guy at the top of Apple bring about the same amount of winners? Is yet to be seen.

Captains are like CEO’s of private enterprises appointed with the sole purpose of bringing just success. A change would be necessary if a CEO decides to retire, falls ill or any other reason that would impede the continuous success of that enterprise.

Carry on regardless? I am sure you would understand my sense of humor.
