New Delhi, May 27 (ANI): A group of 10 Afghan theatre artists from Kabul performed an adaptation of Shakespeare s Comedy of Errors at New Delhi s Azad Bhawan. The audience thoroughly enjoyed the play. It was a moment of pride and great joy for the Afghan actors to be able to perform in front of a packed audience in Delhi. The play is directed by a French Corinne Jaber and produced by a British Roger Granville. Its success could act as a catalyst in the revival of theatre and other performing arts in Afghanistan. Europe is the next stop for the theatre group, where they will be performing at London s Globe theatre, as well as in Oxford, and then they go over to Germany.
