New Delhi, January 27 (ANI): Doctors at Delhi's All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) have said that the two year old toddler who was admitted to the hospital 9 days back, battered and bruised with "human bite marks" all over and severe head injuries, is recovering, but remains critical. Baby Falak, who is now off ventilator support, is in a critical state at the hospital's Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The doctors say Falak is a victim of the "battered baby syndrome" and is likely to have been abused by a close relative. Her chances of survival are only about 30 to 40 percent.
