Angul, August 12 (ANI): Dengue fever has gripped Orissa. Six deaths have been reported from the state till now, with the most recent one confirmed on Thursday. Cases of this mosquito borne disease have been reported in Angul, Dhenkenal, Sundergarg, Keonjhar, Koraput, Jajpur, Mayurbhanj and other districts of the state. The outbreak has left the locals in a state of fear. According to media reports, around 191 patients have been diagnosed with dengue in the state. However, Health Director, Keshab Nayak said that 21 cases of dengue have been confirmed and added that measures to kill the mosquitoes are underway.
