Gorakhpur, December 19 (ANI): Gorakhpur District is located in the eastern half of India s northern Uttar Pradesh state and is well known for its Ganga Jamuna tehzeeb or manners and for promoting religious harmony between communities. The district is home to many shrines and mausoleums that is a further testimony to the communal harmony that exists in the district. Sufi saint Hazrat Roshan Ali Shah s shrine is one such. Symbolising communal harmony, devotees, both Hindus and Muslims, visit the shrine to pay homage to the saint.
