New Delhi, September 30 (ANI): India and Pakistan have agreed to open bank branches of the respective countries and new land routes to boost bilateral trade. The Pakistani Commerce Minister added that the South Asian Free Trade Area (SAFTA) would negotiate with ASEAN (The Association of Southeast Asian Nations) to create a bigger block with Turkey and Central Asia. The nuclear armed neighbours have agreed to double the bilateral trade to $6 billion annually from the current level of $2.7 billion by 2014, including a liberalised visa regime from November 2011 for business communities.
