New Delhi, February 21 (ANI): Law Minister Salman Khurshid has denied any knowledge of the clipping of the election commission s powers in the agenda of an upcoming meeting of the GoM (Group of Ministers). The storm over the issue gathered up after Khurshid said earlier in the day that the central government is planning to discuss electoral reforms in all party meeting after the completion of the five states assembly elections. As per media reports, there is a proposal that could amount to taking away the powers of the Election Commission (EC) to enforce the Model Code of Conduct.
