New Delhi, December 27 (ANI): The much awaited debate on Lokpal Bill began in Parliament today. Minister of State in Prime Minister s Office V. Narayansamy initiated the debate. He said the government elicited the views of Team Anna and later brought a bill on August 4, 2011. He added that since Anna Hazare took a hunger strike after that, so the government passed a Sense of the House resolution in the Monsoon session of the Parliament encompassing the three sticking points put forward by the anti graft crusader. Subsequently, after long deliberations a new Lokpal bill was introduced in the current session withdrawing the older one.
