Kolkata, September 25 (ANI): Amidst tight security, people in West Bengal's Bhowanipur assembly constituency are casting their votes for the by polls from where Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee is contesting. The seat fell vacant following the resignation of the sitting legislator Subrata Bakshi. The voters said they are hopeful that Banerjee would win by a huge margin. By election to the Basirhat seat is being held following the death of CPI (M) legislator Musrafa Bin Qasem. Counting of votes will take place on September 28.
