Paju, January 27 (ANI): Seven trucks carrying 250 tonnes of flour crossed the border from South Korea to North Korea on Friday to give food aid to children in the impoverished country. The shipment marks the first food assistance to the North following the death of North Korean leader Kim Jong il last month. The civic group said seven officials will be accompanying the trip to the North and two of them are planning to remain in Kaesong, the border city, to monitor the food distribution.
