Kolkata, March 10 (ANI): Top female Maoist militant leader Suchitra Mahato surrendered before West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Friday. The rebel relinquished her position earlier in the day after which Banerjee addressed a news conference and praised Mahato's decision. Banerjee called on the Maoist militants to give up their arms and embark on a path towards peace.
