New Delhi, July 19(ANI): Deputy Chairman of Planning Commission, Montek Singh Ahluwalia has confirmed that an economic package worth rupees 57,000 crore has been extended to Uttar Pradesh. Earlier, a delegation of Uttar Pradesh led by Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav had parleys with Ahluwalia, Minister of Planning Ashwani Kumar and other members of the Planning Commission. They discussed the 12th Five Year Plan with emphasis on infrastructure and growth while allocating the budget.
