West Midnapore, November 2 (ANI): In a bid to fight atrocities by Maoists, Nari Samman Banchao Committee in West Bengal has taken the initiative of sticking posters slamming the ideology of the ultras, across villages in the state. Locals have welcomed the initiative and said that they would also want to work towards peace and development of the area. Despite strong measures initiated by the central government, the Maoist insurgency has gripped nearly one third of the country in its violent tentacles, spreading into the interiors of 20 of India's 28 states.
